About Young Life
Mission:

At Young Life, our mission is to bring life to the full for adolescents in Washington, Carter, and Unicoi Counties by introducing them to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Why $1,000?

The $1,000 to play in the tournament is not just an "entry fee" meant to be covered by a single individual. Rather, it is an opportunity to invite others to join you in supporting the mission of Young Life in Carter, Unicoi, and Washington counties.

Invitation to Make an Impact:The $1,000 "entry fee" is more than a registration cost; it's an invitation to others in your network to join you in supporting our mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of adolescents in our community.

Diverse Fundraising Methods: People raise the $1,000 in various ways. Some rally support from ten individuals willing to contribute $100 each, while others reach out to friends, sharing personal stories about why they care and inviting them to participate in any way they can.

Critical Funding: This golf fundraiser is one of our primary sources of financial support for Young Life in Upper East Tennessee. Funds raised enable us to sustain our ministry, providing resources to:

  • Support 4 full-time staff
  • 1 part-time staff
  • Serve 8 high schools, and
  • Reach ~ 500 students each year
how we accomplish our mission:
  • Going Where Kids Are: We build personal relationships with adolescents by meeting them where they are.
  • Earning the Right to Share the Good News:Through genuine connections, we earn the right to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
  • Providing Life-Changing Experiences:We offer fun, adventurous, and skill-building experiences that positively impact their lives.
  • Inviting Kids to Respond:We invite adolescents to personally respond to the Good News and walk alongside them regardless of their response.
  • Community Engagement:We work in the community alongside like-minded adults, including volunteer leaders, committee members, donors, and staff.

Thank you for considering joining us in this life-changing endeavor!

EVERY KID. EVERYWHERE.
